Each year, the Society invites all emerging artists who are full-time undergraduate students at a post-secondary university in Alberta to submit artworks along with an Artist Statement to our Scholarship Award incentive.
The artworks shown in this Alberta Society of Artists juried group exhibition have been selected based upon individual responses to the original call for submissions:

The Alberta Society of Artists invites all artists in Alberta to submit to the exhibition, “Reflections & Shadows.”
“Reflection and Shadow” is about the artist’s personal, sociological, and/or environmental reflections relating to change and dissent. The work can be about internal or other perceived issues relating to the phenomena of “Reflection and Shadow.”
Indigenous, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, Newcomers & Immigrant Artists are encouraged to apply.
