ABOUT TREX

Since 1980, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) has supported a provincial travelling exhibition program that strives to ensure every Albertan is provided with an opportunity to enjoy fully developed exhibitions. TREX exhibitions travel to various venues including schools, libraries, healthcare centres, and smaller rural institutions and galleries throughout the province.

HOW TO HOST TREX

Interested in hosting a TREX travelling exhibition? Every year TREX launches a new selection of exhibitions for venues to book during our September through August tour calendar. Host venues must have an appropriate space to hang artwork, and must follow shipping and hanging instructions provided by TREX Southwest staff.
