I feel that art is an expressive connection between the artist and viewer; a way to communicate ones’ vision and understanding of a way of life, place or situation. I love to share my inspiration. I strive to create a story in my work and give the viewer something to think about and something to remember. My paintings are often said to portray a tranquil, peaceful and reflective feeling loosely painted with warmth, romance and atmosphere drawing the viewer not only to another place but to another time presenting not only a scene but a memory.
Most important to me, I paint with intuition. I follow my instincts about what I will paint and how I will paint it as I share with the viewer what inspires me to create.
