Artist Statement

I am working on a Series during the 2020 Pandemic. The inspiration for this journey comes from a painting done early January before I was aware of the Pandemic, Red Headdress 20” x 20” Acrylic on Canvas, women with flowing red flower petals for hair. I use my own reference photos to create an image of a head with a flower on top. My living room has become a studio, chose of medium acrylic on canvas.
